Hello There I'd like to get some feedback on a service I wish to offer people here. I hear a lot of Internet Marketing audio and video with really terrible sound. This bothers me probably because
I'd like to know whether having good sounding audio helps peoples products convert better? If I could offer people here a service to 'clean up' their audio recordings and even the audio within their videos would it be of any use? Or do people not really mind that their recordings are 'dirty' and there is no need for this kind of service to the IM world? I would love to hear some feedback before I post my services in the 'Service for Hire' section Thanks Dave |

Hi. I have no idea if good audio converts better but I wouldn't be surprised. Bad video quality can give a video character - bad audio just kills it. What I would like to see as a podacster who's just starting up is a ebook - a guide that tells me which microphones to buy in different price ranges, how to install them and how to configure my computer to record the best audio. That's my thought. I don't have the budget to pay to have my audio cleaned up but I have no problem investing in a good guide and good equipment. Just my $0.02 |

I am not sure about conversions on audio quality, but I am sure the better the video the more leads! There is always room for an audio recording service here on WF. People are always searching for audio engineers to professionally record their ebooks into an audio version and for videos. I would look into posting a WSO or something regarding your service. The demand is there... -Christian |

I'm quite picky with sound also, and I can tell you that I HATE it when I get a product, and the sound is crap, or the speaker is holding/playing with the mic, especially with my headphones on... some of those rattles are HUGE in a good set of head gear...

I'm with ya Dave. I cringe when I hear poorly recorded audio! I think a lot of people just don't realize how easy (and inexpensive) it is to get quality audio recordings now, if they just follow a few basic guidelines. I've done audio editing work for some Warriors in the past, but I don't do that much anymore as I've been focusing more on product development and marketing lately. But yeah, there is definitely a market for that type of work. Go for it! |
