Go Daddy registration and email questions

I just registered a domain name on Go Daddy but I did not expect the "upsell" questions at the end. Private registration, Deluxe registration, business registration, Protected registration and Email.

My question is do you use any of these options or what are the best options to use? I noticed that when you search the "who is" you can see the registered owners name, is it worth the $6.99 to hide this or can they find out another way?

Do you get the email through Go Daddy or do you use something else?

It is good to hide your who is information with so many criminals trolling the net. I always use it and do not buy anything else. If you buy through Namecheap they give a free who is facility for a year. GoDaddy folks are also internet marketers like most of us and they up sell because the truth in this business is that the money is in the backend and in "OTOs".

It's always a good idea to hide your who is information and if you purchase at least 5 domains in one go from Godaddy you'll get free privacy. Also you can get free privacy for just one domain name from Netfirms.
