This has been discussed throughout the forums but I am still curious to find out (more) what you Mac users out there use as SEO tools and what your experiences are?

Mac SEO tool suggestions, experiences, do's and don'ts?

A lot of software developers don't create software for Mac. That's the main reason I used to use Bootcamp when I had a Mac.

If you don't want to use Bootcamp, and have money to spare, you can invest in a Windows VPS, where you can access a Windows Server from any computer with all your SEO Tools installed.

    I think there's a WSO here somewhere that's only $20 / month

    Hey there,

I'm a Mac SEO freelancer - looking to break into IM.

    Anyway tools I use:

Market Samurai (keyword research and a few others - currently became crippled, read recent news regarding the state of MS)

Screaming Frog SEO Spider (Nice for on-page Optimization analysis - fast)

SEO Powersuite: Seo spyglass to spy on competition primarily

For spinning articles, I've used content professor (web based)

    Additionally, I use outsourcers =)

There is my software list - It covers nearly everything you need.

I would say Google keyword tools, Market Samurai or Wordtracker.

    Market Samurai.

Then I have Parallels and boot that up to run windows programs. Easy.

I use Online tools so I do not bother wasting my time opening program after program that connects to an online service anyways. SEMRush (by far the most advanced), SEOBook, and many others.

my main system is a mac, but I recently set up a system with win 7 on it and I just remotely log in to it. It would be nice if there were more mac applications out.

I have a couple programs that work on Mac that run on Adobe Air. It would be nice to see more Adobe Air software so it's universal.

      Link Finder Pro
      LSI Digger

      These were both WSO's.

As previously mentioned, use Firefox or Chrome plugins such as:

      SEO for Firefox
      SEO Quake

Aaron Wall's SEObook KEYWORD TOOL is one of my favorite resources - get Wordtracker data for FREE - otherwise it's $299/year

For the must have programs that don't run on Mac, use VMware or Parallels to run Bootcamp install of Windows on Mac.

Like its said above - most of the tools are online (accessable thru browsers), so you shouldn't have problem with it.

I have noticed that there are more Mac users in this area (IM) than PC users.
