Study: How To Write Tweets That Your Followers Hate
How to write Tweets that people LOVE
- questions to followers received the best ratings
- Information sharing gets high ratings
- suprise: self promotion gets good ratings
How to write Tweets that people HATE
- only 36% of the Tweets were considered worth reading.
- personal info, like what you are doing now, was rated worst !!!
- using many hashtags and @ is a bad idea, users care much more for the content of the tweet than the references
- tweets giving incomplete information/context to be easily understood are a wast of time
- repeating info that's already out there is considered boring
