INTERNET MARKETING

I have a whole bunch of brand new computers, connected to really fast Internet. I'm living in China and the cost of these things is really cheap. They are sitting and collecting dust at the moment though, because I don't know what to do with them.

So I have been trying to brainstorm ways of converting them into an SEO tool, and am wondering what you guys would put on these boxes?

I could run programs like Xrumer, creating profile links and things like that, bundle those, and sell them.

They could be used to send out mass-emails.

They are doing nothing right now, how would you put them to work?

I could also rent out the space. Ie. 24 hours of pure crunch-work for $50, and the customer provides the software and set-up instructions.

Do you think anyone would want that?

why don't you sell them on ebay or amazon, use america of europe customers most people seem to do that now days.

I don't want to get rid of them. I just want to turn them into a powerful tool of some sort. Or rent them for something... but what?

Plus there are all kind of anti-dumping, copyright, and so forth problems with these Chinese electronics, not to mention shipping costs.

  All these PCs are running XP or 7 at the moment (Chinese love XP) But any OS can be purchased for a few dollars here.
  
  The computers are from someone who over-purchased, so the cost is really negligible at this point, as I am only purchasing the rights to use the space and equipment. The PCs are gorgeous and really fast - built for gaming, fastest internet already payed for, but they will just slowly deteriorate because the owner isn't going do anything with them.

  I'm one of the few that doesn't buy the pirated stuff that line the streets. I honestly need my Windows updates.
  
  But if I had to downgrade to XP just to get a VPS to work I'd probably buy a cd off the streets it's true. I've purchased XP legally before, but have long lost all trace of em.

Enabling remote desktop and renting your computers, running programs and selling services, bitcoin harvesting, creating an internet cafe, selling parts, running WOW bots; just some ideas.

Start a netcoffee business or how its called. (where people can browse internet, or play games with LAN connection). You can make events like game contests as well. I have a friend who do the same with 8 pc's and he makes good money.

you could hire some guys who are really good for english writing and write articles for web content.. or sell them

about WOW farming .. i did that but the price for the gold you sell it is way too cheap .. is not worth it at all

haha yeah. Content is an option, but finding good English writers is really hard. Hard to control quality - not very automated, so not optimal. Where are you located?

  The wholesale harvesters make 1-2k RMB per month full-time. So it's really not a great endeavor to compete with that.

Yeah that seems to be a common theme for this brainstorm. Set up a VPS and rent time for SEO programs like Scrapebox. I'd love to do this but it's a little too technical for me, and I haven't found a guide yet to get it going. So that's the road-block for that particular plan.

  Windows XP
  
  Windows Virtual PC
  
  Create [10+] Virtual Machines
  
  Give each space permission (ie. 500mb)
  
  Permission to install their own programs
  
  I think I can set up a service like that, with a monthly fee. But I'm still not convinced it's the best route. Do you have any advice?

You can create an internet cafe/ you can set them up to farm gold on video games and sell them/ or their are websites that will pay you to run a program in your computers background and they use that program to run software and pay you some an hour like $0.25 an hour. You can have your laptops do that and still rent them out as an internet cafe these programs don't use a lot of power
