Can only seem to manually spin article to 48% - is this normal?

I just got an article spinning program, and I wanted to know if I should have achieved a greater spin percentage when manually choosing each synonym for the original article.

From what I know, 48% is pretty shoty, especially if I want to submit to reputable directories (correct?)

Is there something I am doing wrong, or is this what I should expect?

Any suggestions?

NOTE: Please do not tell me to completely rewrite the article. I know that's an option, but not for what I'm doing.

    I've never been a believer in synonym replacement as a decent method of spinning. As part of your spin, sure. But unless you're spinning on at least the sentence and phrase level, or producing very few spun articles from your "spintax," I'm not really sure how you could ever get above 48% uniqueness. I'm actually surprised you're getting that.

    I don't think you need an article spinner. 95% of the article marketing traffic will come from the top 5 article directories, and you can definitely submit your articles there by hand in about 20 minutes.

    I liked the article link you provided on article spinning. Just goes to show that you can't replace a human when it comes to writing/rewriting an article. That's why I like to manually rewrite all of my articles myself.

      All spinning or rewriting should be 100% human and you should strive for at least 70% or higher.

    i just follow a simple trick. i spin one of my article manually. so its become 100% unique. and then spin that one with my spinner. i don't use the middle article. in any submission. believe me or not all the spin articles become 100% unique in comparison with the 1st one.
