Driving Traffic to Squeeze Pages

Sorry for the total noob question of the day...but what are the most effective ways to drive traffic to a squeeze page?

I am crafting an eBook that I want to use primarily to build a list but will likely charge $1.99 for it or something like that. Once I complete the eBook and create a squeeze page, how do I generate traffic to the page?

Thanks!

You can start by listing you e-book as a WSO. You can offer an affiliate program and gain visitors through your affiliates. Linking your e-book in your signature. Link exchange with other webmasters. Those are just a few options.

Your best bet is forum marketing in niches that are similar to that of your ebook. Make smart posts so that people want to see the product you are offering - a link to your squeeze page should be in your signature. You can also do SEO and social media marketing.

Also, once you generate traffic to your page, a lot of people won't sign up if they have to pay. If you are squeezing for a larger project, offer the ebook for free for best results.

Get a paid add for $5 at adf.ly as well as buy a groupon campaign!!

Besides, promote your squeeze page via facebook events, get a custom made facebook fan page.
YOU can buy facebook viral bomb , it is an application that shows how one can actually make a E-BOOK [ WITH A few points missing] and then how to make it go viral on facebook.
Once the reader fills the opt in, he is taken to the download page and the report usually has affiliate links inside it!!

you can try traffic exchanges, it's free and although not effective for other sites, for squeeze pages you can get some to your list. But usually works better if it's a free to signup squeeze page.

    Hi Ron,

I would strongly recommend giving the ebook away for free since this is more likely to secure optins and develop your list....

On the traffic front there are a number of ways in which you can drive traffic to your Squeeze Page.

    Free Methods:

Forum Marketing- Link in signature file.
Blog Commenting- Commenting on niche blogs.
Guest Posting- Writing articles on related blogs.
Syndicating content to sites such as scribd.com etc....

    Hope these help

    Kind regards

    Chris

He means solo ads in emails that you would buy from someone who sends it to their list. This can be expensive depending who you contact and what niche you're in.

    Hi,

Look into setting up JV's with your close contacts. If you don't have any contacts, start contacting those in your niche that could benefit by offering your product as something complimentary to what they are already doing.

Solo ads, are also known as email blasts. Simply a single email that a list owner sends out to their list for you. They might charge based on the number of subscribers or on the number of clicks. There is cost, but it is not expensive because if you do your homework and select high quality solos, you can experience a positive ROI. Try directoryofezines.com for starters.

Remember, you should be focused on generating targeted traffic to your squeeze page and offers. You want people subscribing that you can turn into customers, otherwise you are wasting your time. Some of the traffic sources mentioned will get you a lot of subscribers, but will not help you build a business. The quality of the traffic is absolutely horrible, and that's why it's so cheap.

Also, your entire sales funnel should be constructed so that you can turn a profit.
For this you need to know, what your opt in rate will be, what are your front end converstions, what are your back end conversions. What is your cost per click and what is your earnings per click? Things like that will give you some insight on what you can spend on traffic.

My top recommendations are solo ads, ad swaps, ezine advertising, and Facebook PPC. Hope this helps, let me know if you have questions!

1.Build backlinks through article marketing by submission to article directories.

    2. Blog commenting. Find for blogs with the same niche and make comment.

    3. Forum. Exactly what you are doing now.

    4. Video marketing.

    5. Drive traffic from FB. You can use FB advert (CPC).

    6. Solo ads/ ad swap.
