Hi Everyone

Which type of squeeze page converts best:

1. the long ones with a sign up form

2. the short video ones with a sign up form

3. the short ones with bullet points and a sign up form

Looking forward to your replies

I have had good results with all 3, and it really depends on your copy and your offer. Video seems to be converting a lot better lately though so I am moving a lot of my squeeze pages to a short video form. Or ones with a "dummy video" at the top with an opt in required to view.

One with a animated down or side arrow, a catchy headline, little description.
A Video [ not auto play] can also improve conversions!!

Depends on how you drive traffic to it.
    my .02
SHORT video (so sick of long ones) best for good solo ad purchases
Bullet points with sign up form - good all around
Long letter with sign up - better for sales not list building

Depends on the niche and many other factors, where your traffic comes from, what mood they are in, their demographics, etc. You have to split test to see what works best for you and then re-test with more variations to get even higher opt-in rates.

For me, I use video squeeze pages most of the time, as these work best for me.

I use many of them but normally the traffic source is what makes me decide which one.

The one with a video seems to convert well. But then again, it all boils down to the content and the way your page looks

I've never tried a video squeeze page but if I had a video I'd test all of the above to see which one performed the best.

My simple and sometimes untidy squeeze pages are currently converting at 60% which is pretty good but I should try testing them against a video... just gotta get round to it.

Though the general consensus here is that video works best for listbuilding, I know some successful listbuilders who still swear by their traditional non-video squeeze pages. There are a number of factors that I've found that actually considerably improve your squeeze page conversions, whether it be video or not.
    1. Your Headline - must promise big without exaggerating
    2. An Image of whatever product you are offering
    3. Bullet points of the benefits
    4. Your signature
    5. Two opt-in forms. One above the fold, and one below

So whichever format you decide to use, always ensure you satisfy these and you're conversions should be easily healthy
