I just saw this on the Drudge Report (remember the forum rules about not getting into a political discussion):

The ad, seriously, a halter-topped blonde holding a banana that points at her mouth, and then the story about politicians using subliminal ads, got me wondering ...

Have you ever tried subliminal advertising?

It's an interesting question. I believe that subliminal messaging is a big part of any marketing campaign, whether it's coloring, that cause stimuli of excitement, or a girl holding a banana

Whatever works, I guess, although I believe there are lines which should not be crossed - remembering the 25th frame effect, for example.
