What is the value of a Facebook Fan?

This is a great Question, on your experience what do you think the value of a fan is?

My personal experience says that is not the fan that gets the value, but valuable users are the once how would become your fans (that why I don't think giving free Ipads to random people will get you good amount of fans).

Have you pay for Fans, what result did you get?

    It really depends on what you are offering them. If the fan came to your dunkface fan page because they love basketball, and you are pushing a jersey for their favorite player... then you have a much better chance of them taking action over a random Facebook fan.

    Social media makes it very easy to find people to join things like a fan page, but the value of these fans really comes down to how you are gaining the fans and what options you are giving them to make a purchase.

    A good fan page can be just as effective as an email list... it essentially is the same thing.... A list of prospects.

    According to the IPO - Facebook generates about 4.39 in revenue per user...

    New stats have users count at 845 million, up 39% from 2010 (608 mil)

    Hello,

    It all depends on what you plan to do with your fans. Kavit Haria sold his fan page for £11000 so I believe fans have great value.
