dvd/ebook course suggestion on learning how to help market small business via web?

I currently make $14/hr as a front end code html/css/javascript code developer and as a web consultant for a small firm in Vancouver. I just got this job after studying on my own html and web code for a little over a year. However, I also have a passion for sales psychology and love studying businesses and business models.

I have watched some of frank kern's dvds/eban pagan's get altutide dvd series, and several others all about 3 years ago, but then I was too young to really understand how to implement them or to have resources to try out what they were and was too busy with university studying business for a degree but really boring because nothing seemed practical.

Anyhow, I'm getting back into web related industry for my career for the moment, and after taking a social media marketing course that the owner of the place I work for paid for, I realized I was asking a lot of marketing related questions and realized I still have a passion for sales copy writing and business strategizing.

I wasn't too big on frank kern's stuff (his mass control stuff from 3 yrs ago - i haven't been staying up to date with his recent stuff) despite how interesting they were because it doesn't necessarily help me strategize a business plan for a local vancouver photogerphaer company that's coming into my workplace office asking for a $3000 website. However, I would love to take time analyzing the person's business, understanding the business model, and giving her a new business plan/model and a new web-based marketing strategy that will drastically increase her income, what is the best dvd/ebook/resource currently available for under $1000 that I could purchase right now so that I can move on from doing entry level html css coding and do some serious money making?
