Question On What To Do With This Site

Hoping someone can help me out here. I have a site i built back in June of 2010. The site is based around a certain type of toy for a certain age group. I built the site as an Amazon affiliate site before i did any reading. The average price per item is only like $5-$10 so it gets Amazon sales but makes nothing at all.

I forgot about the site and the other day pulled up statistics. Im currently getting around 700-900 unique visitors a month and it peaked in Nov and Dec at around 1200-1500.

Im looking for a recommendation on the best way to make money on this site. Any better ideas since Amazon isnt getting me anything but i am getting pretty good traffic.

    Is there any other store with better commission related to this product? Do you own Amazon Associate Store? Maybe you could add some baner to this site which could lead people to your associate store. Do you have other websites? Are in any kind related to toys? There are a lot of combinations, just start experimenting with some things (like banners, links,...) and measure your results so that you will know what works best for you

    If it's not worth anything because it's not making any money — add pages targeting higher ticket toys — and create it to make more money.

    Or flip it, for 8-10 months projected income from what it's making now.

    You can try to use some alternative of Amazon. Also use adsesnse in your site. Hope it will help you making some extra money.

    You could consider re-designing your website. Throw some adsense ads on it. Make your main product shown obviously on your site. Also, start an opt-in email newsletter to bring subscribers back to your website.
