Hey guys. I was wondering if it's a good idea to use "Windows" and "androids" in my domain names? I'm a little bit scared about using them both in my domain names because they're both products of microsoft and google.

No, not unless you are the trademark owner of those terms. Not worth it.

Building your business on a house of cards is never a good idea.

Do you really want to waste your time building up a website that could be taken away from you any day?

Can't we really use trademarks as domain name? How about we promote freeiphoneapps.com or funandoridapps.net? I think it's fair since we also make money for them. I ever seen an affiliate website with iphone trademarks on it.

Yes I concur with WillR. If you are serious about building a long-term business, you should get a paid domain name. It won't cost you much.

I wouldn't recommend it. You should consider naming it based on the features and benefits that Windows and Androids offer.

NO, as already stated, you could spend a lot of time and money in developing the site, and then get it ripped down.

Like others have mentioned, if you are considering a medium to long term project, it is just not worth risking using such terms in your domain name

All your hard work could go to waste - you are best off just thinking up a unique name so that you don't face troubles later on

Hay guys thanks for the responses. Appreciate it. I was planning to create a niche website on a keyword which has both windows and android names on it since it has low competition. I'll guess i will have to use another domain the. But is it possible if i include both keyword on my website page title?

I don't see that being a problem... can you imagine how many pages on the Internet would have the same? The difference is a domain name is something you own and make money from.
