Meaningless Domain Name

Hello Warriors,

What is your opinion or experience with the following method to save money buying lots of domain names?

Main domain will be a short three or a four character irrelevant domain name e.g. fgaw.com
Sub-domains will be meaningful e.g. acme-treatment.fgaw.com

    I just did something similar - registered a name that was kind of like "information.com" and then will do subdomains for some different products.

    My thinking is that it will be fine for affilaite type sites or cpa offers. I would not do it for my main business sites.

    You need to get a great name of a domain to use a lot of subdomains with success E.g. treatment.com and subs as:
    acne.treatment.com
    something.treatment.com
