SO What V.S.L./S.L. Split Tests Have You Done?

Just looking to stimulate conversation and ideas for everyone here in regards to split testing their video sales letters VS regular sales letter...

So far I have split tested VSL with nice banner / VSL no banner and the one WITH the banner won.

Now I'm testing VSL with banner AND long sales copy underneath with add to cart buttons already up / VSL with add to cart already up.

Results so far is the VSL with long sales copy is killing it.

BTW: I'm in the fat loss niche and my traffic is mostly through SEO.

So let's get the ball rolling...We all know split testing is KEY when it comes to increasing those conversions. Seeing what others have done or noticed with their results.

Hey, great convo you've started here!

I'm actually in the middle of testing a Video Sales Letter WITH Text Vs. JUST the Video Sales Letter with a timed 'Add to Cart' button.

So far, the one with JUST the video sales letter is the definite winner.

But there aren't enough stats just yet to be statistically valid. I just started this test a couple days ago. But here are the stats so far...

Video Sales Letter ONLY with a Timed Add to Cart Button: 23 Sales

Video Sales Letter With sales copy underneath: 15 Sales

I'm definitely interested to see the final results!

I'll come back and report once the split-test is finished

    Cheers,

    Kim

      Awesome stuff!

I've learned a lot from your posts.

I think the biggest thing with split testing when you really drill down is the type of traffic you're sending to the page.

I haven't tested this yet, but I think cold PPC traffic will do better with just a VSL with a timed popup button.

Is this what you're doing currently?

    Totally agree!

The 'type' of traffic your sending definitely makes a big difference.

The test results above are actually from emails I've sent to my
subscriber list so it's definitely 'warm' traffic.
