Clickbank checks expired, what to do?

I have 11 CB checks that my bank couldn't cash because they are too
old (from last year).
I couldn't see anything on those checks that says when they expire.

It's about $2000 so I wander if there is a wayto get that money.
Maybe CB will issue new checks if I ask nicely?

Any advice on how to go about?

Contact them and send them back, they always replaced mine pretty quickly.

When I received checks, before I switched to direct deposit, it stated clearly that the check expires after 90 days.

      See their Terms Of Service.

Maybe for future payments you set up a Direct Deposit from ClickBank.

Just try to contact Clickbank Support, most probably is that they will send you up-to-date checks replacing your old ones. Also it is a good opportunity to ask them for the Direct Deposit System as Annie says. You won't have any issue like this anymore.

Yeah just get in touch. Don't worry, Clickbank are very reasonable, they'll sort it out.

Technically, checks never expire, but they do go "stale" after six months and most banks won't honor them any more.

Not sure about your country but I would deposit them through an ATM (banking machine) not a teller. One cheque at a time. As long as the MICR line (the stuff encoded stuff across the bottom of the cheque) is not damaged (torn mostly). When it gets processed through the the system (machines), the machines will probably not be checking the date. If any part of the MICR line is torn it will be sent to manual processing and then the operators might check the date.

Also, I would not do this if the cheque was for a large dollar amount. Large dollar amounts always get manually checked and therefore someone might noticed the stale date (older than 6 months). Large dollar depends on your country. In Canada I wouldn't do anything over 5,000.

      Good Luck.

Your only option is to call them! And as others have said you can do direct deposit.

If ClickBank turns you down you could always release the WSO "I'm So Rich I Forget To Cash My Checks!" to make up for the lost money ;-)

      Thank you guys.

Direct deposit would be perfect, but I live in Sweden and Clickbank doesn't do direct deposit in Sweden (which is why CB will never get
Nobell Prize for peace or anything else ).

@williamstraus: excellent idea for my next wso!

Just wondering what happened, why did the 11 checks stale.
Did you forgot to deposit it right away or did it arrive late?

Why didn't you cash the cheques immediately when you receive them?

I didn't read Q&A on CB site where it says that checks become stale after
      90 days.
I thought I can cash them whenever I want, and since that was just some
extra money I had no real reason to hurry.

This will probably be solved without problems, CB will issue new check.
