Question about DNS and Webhosting at Byethost
On the advice that I read here in these forums, and because my budget is practically zero, I went to go daddy and purchased an INFO domain for $2
I also have a free webhost service at byethost.
I did the DNS server thing at go daddy yesterday (sunday). I even called up the go daddy help desk and the very nice technician talked me through the process over the phone.
I think he also said that it will take between 24 and 48 hours for that to propagate through the network. Does that sound right?
And is that why my domain name currently has the following message on it?
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I tried to upload my index page today - just one index page and one graphic - and nothing is showing up. Did I do something wrong or is the propagation process simply not complete yet?
I plan on writing e-books about genealogy. They say, if you cant find the book you want - then write it yourself. Well that's what I am going to.
The genealogy market does not appear to be saturated with ebooks as yet. Those few e-books that I have found, are strongly aimed towards the USA.
I plan on aiming towards other countries that are NOT the USA.
That's my niche.
