Default Marketing to small and local businesses?

Hello Warriors,

If you are marketing to the local or small business niche, here's a great opportunity to get free publicity and traffic, build your customer base, and make some extra cash as well.

For those who don't know me, I've been a Warrior for a decade, and an online marketer for 16 years. I'm pretty easy to check out on Google, and many people on this board have done business with me in the past.

My partner and I are releasing a turn-key marketing system for small and local businesses in the next 60 days. An important part of the system is access to an online mastermind community of marketers and local businesses owners to facilitate networking and education.

We are looking for pre-release content providers to help us create the community before we actually charge people admission. There will be numerous promotional opportunities for product sellers and service providers, as well the potential to participate in our monthly Webinars. The community uses a "Facebook Style" interface, and will be familiar to many people.

Key points

** We have already built a prototype of the course and system with 40 people, and the results are impressive, so we know the process works.

** Our goal is to put a minimum of 2,000 people into this system in 2009, and give our partners a lot of exposure.

** There's an affiliate program attached to this opportunity, though it's not mandatory for your participation.

What we need

We want 25 quality content providers to contribute videos, Camtasia tutorials, articles, PDFs, and other postings on the following topics to the community before we launch:

* Marketing with Google and Yahoo PPC ads
* Marketing with newsletters
* Using business blogs
* Getting free publicity
* Getting Web site traffic

Basically, if it's related to small or local business marketing, we want it in the community. However, the material must be:

High quality: No poorly rewritten articles or blatantly self promotional videos. You must actually teach people something, and of course, you may include your URL at the bottom or end of your content.

Original: You must be the creator, or copyright holder of the content.

Contextually relevant: This needs to be relevant to small and local business owners, not the "make money" crowd. Thus, we aren't looking for article spinning info, AdSense techniques, bum marketing, or get-rich quick stuff.

How you profit

If you are selected, you'll get:

The ability to promote your sites, products, and services in the community, provided you do so through an affiliate link (if you have an affiliate program).

Free traffic from our members, as well as increased inbound links and SEO benefits.

Free access to the community, and the course when it's released.

The top 3 content providers will get to come to our upcoming seminar in Hawaii at no charge (Date TBD).

The ability to earn commissions from people you refer to the system.

How to get started

If this sounds good, just send me a short Private Message with an idea of what you have in mind, what you offer, and your email address so I can send you an invite to the community.

We'll begin in the next week, and you can set up your profile and start adding stuff well before we actually launch.

Thanks,

Jonathan Mizel

Warriors,

Whenever I'm asked the question, "Which individuals have positively influenced your online marketing and business the most?," I list three names, without even blinking...

Allen Says, Paul Myers, and...Jonathan Mizel.

These three make my list not only because of their brilliant marketing wisdom but also because of who they are as individuals. (Despite all their successes, they are some of the nicest, most generous and super humble guys I've ever met in this business.)

Personally, I consider these 3 guys to be the pioneers. They've been around since the beginning and have really contributed massively to this industry. It just wouldn't be what it is today without them.

I've also had the very good fortune of working, in one way or another, with all three of them.

I guess what I'm trying to say is....

You won't get too many chances in life to work on a project with the great Jonathan Mizel (nor Allen or Paul.)

So, when you get an opportunity to do so (provided it's a match for both of you, obviously,) don't even think twice about it.

Do it!

Bryan,

You forgot to mention that, despite his advanced years, he's still got some "cool" left in him.

I must admit that when I saw this thread last week, I did ask myself if it was
THE
Jonathan Mizel, and yes it really is. If you get to work with Jonathan, it
will make you. Short and simple. Hopefully my new products will fill Jonathan's
requirements.

Wow, what a great response! I really appreciate this amazing community, and thank Allen every day for keeping it going.

To Bryan: Thanks for the props man, I hope you'll be part of this deal too. Your stuff is always impressive and you are a great marketer in your own right.

To Paul: If Thompson, Hopper, Woody, and Willie can refuse to age gracefully, so can I. BTW, thanks for staying curmudgeonly. LOL!

To Gatchel: Where you been brother? Hit me up on Facebook or send your data via PM. It's been years!

And to everyone else, I'll send the invites out later today. Make sure to include your email address in the PM so I can send you the details as well as info on the Partner Teleseminar we are having this Thursday.

Aloha,

Jonathan Mizel
