I recently launched a website focused on the sale of sustainable living products. I am having trouble deciding between the same domain and separate domain options. I like the idea of separate because, in the long term my goal is to spend most of my time on the blog and I'd like for my blog to be my main income source. In addition, I'd like to have a personal voice in my blog and include short technique-sharing videos, authored by myself and the community I hope to build. I also like the Wordpress feature that allows readers to subscribe and read posts from email. The SEO benefits of being under one domain are attractive.
