I Need A Feedburner Expert (Or Anyone Who Knows More About It Than Me!)

For three days I've been having a problem with my Feedburner account, that I was directed to move to Google, which I am assuming means Google bought Feedburner? But, I digress....

I just put up a new blog and I created a new feed in Feedburner for it and I went into the PUBLICIZE (spelling?) area and ENABLED the email subscription service. It now says "This Service Is Active."

However, I can't subscribe to it. I go to my site and fill out the form and it goes through all the motions then tells me "The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled."

I've posted numerous messages in the Google Help Group, but to no avail.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or if this is something common that can be fixed?

I'm going to post my URL, just in the hopes that someone will check it out, maybe even try to subscribe via the form and see if it works. I don't think I'm breaking any rules, but if I am, I apologize.

Hey There,

Did you use the script that Feedburner supplied? I looked at the source code and it does not look like you have configured the "Feed ID" within the code.

Your "FeedID" is your feedburner feed.

Is that a WordPress Blog?

If it is you can grab a Feedburner Plugin and you will be set. Just upload the plugin...activate it....then go enter in the details it asks for !

For my last blog it took 24 hours for the email subscription to actually work. Just wait and try again tomorrow.

In your Wordpress Theme editor section, click on Revolution Lifestyle Options and fill in your Feedburner Email Subscribe ID # and save.

In yor Feedburner account, Look at the email subscriber code that they supply you and you will see your ID # in there. Take just the # and input into the theme as mentioned above.

So this is what it should look like and I just did it a few minutes ago so it does not take 24 hrs.

Brisbane Domestic and Industrial Sheds

Look for the email link on the right under choose your reader.

It will ask for your email and captucha code then send a confirmation email.
