Tax return allocation

Hey guys! I'm seriously considering investing my tax return into screen capture software as I have been getting requests to make tutorials (things are starting to look up!)

What I'm currently planning is to invest part of it into a program like Camtasia, and maybe use the other portion towards something else I'm not sure of. I would just really hate to get that tax return in and be tempted to waste it.

I feel like it would be a phenomenal investment, and hopefully add a different dimension to what I'm trying to do.

Do any of you guys put any of your tax returns towards your business?

Most businesses have to pay taxes at the end of the year, not get money back

Many many moons ago I too received a tax return. If I recall correctly I spent it on a Pearl Jam cassette tape. :p

In all seriousness, investing your tax return wise. The people I know of who receive substantial returns, usually blow them at the nearest Megamart.

Just be sure to outline your plan for the money and when you expect to see a return.
