If your member of some social bookmarking services.I highly recommend bookmarking your pages.

A word of caution, though. Do not spam, make sure your contributing value.

If you're not a member with any bookmarking services. You can start now with:

      big.com.

      propeller.com

Good luck on your indexing quest. Hope I contributed to your journey.

socialmarker.com has all the best social bookmarking sites in one!

As for getting indexed on google in 24 hours, yes it is possible.

Best thing you can do is:

Social Bookmark all of you pages and posts,

Digg.com is probably the first on google will pick up.

Use hubpages, squidoo lens and blogger blogs with articles and links that point to your site.

        Then social bookmark those.

Post comments on blogs in your niche (don't spam)

socialmarker.com is a good tip the thing I recommend is going through and setting up real profiles with real value. For if you do it this way. Not only where you get indexed, but you can get some decent traffic.

I'm just assuming that not only do you want and that'sto be indexed, but you also desire quality traffic.

Go free to let me know if I'm absolutely wrong on this assumption. :-)

I like to use 4 or 5 Web 2.0 Properties, and bookmark to at least 20 bookmarking sites that I make at least 3 or 4 accounts to each.

I'd go with article submission. If you have an ezinearticles account set up I'd post an article with a link to your site in the author box. If not, use GoArticles. Either one should suffice. The other option is to submit an RSS feed.

when you make a website it gets crawled by the search engines, google being the fastest one in most cases, depending apon how keyword rich your site is depends on how much traffic you will get for the keywords you are trying to rank high in the search engines for.

Bookmarking ofcourse.... And to name a few...

    Digg - 20 minutes

    Hi,

I've had heaps of blogs indexed within 24 hours. Usually
    WP blogs..

I always change the permalink structure and use plugins
    such as all-in-one-seo, smart-update-pinger etc.

Then add a few articles which get pinged with the
smart-update-pinger...Then I bookmark them on popular
social bookmark sites, digg, stumble upon, all the ones
    in onlywire..

Once I have my blog's base built, I create a sitemap with
    the XML sitemap plugin.

This notifies google and yahoo about your site!!

I'm sure its just as easy with a static HTML page
website...just make sure you have your title, meta
tags and a sitemap in order.

Then submit to the search engines! Piece of cake!

WordPress - Google seems to love WordPress sites.

Do all of the advice mentioned above and build your site with WordPress and Google will beat a path to your door (well at least they'll index you!).

I have a new site which after 1 week is still not indexed

I have it added to webmaster tools
I have submitted it to Google and it has been Digged

Others that have the same treatment have been indexed in less than a day

I guess the pattern is there is no pattern

have you got a blog with wordpress for it as google loves wordpress when i did my latest blog it was indexed in less than a day. Why not give it a helping hand and add it to lots more bookmarking sites and do some articles or press releases about it.
