Is there a way to track your clickbank Sales?

I noticed on clickbank they have a way to setup instant notification of when things happen for a clickbank member.

My questions are: Is it for both affiliates and publishers, or just publishers?

If its not for affiliates, is there another way to setup instant notifications for affiliates? How do you go about doing it?

It's easy and it rocks. It works for affiliates as well as publishers.

The PHP code supplied on that page works almost as-is. I throw a mail() php command in mix so I get an email every time a sale goes off.

I am facing some issues with setting up the clickbank sales notification. Was wondering if you would be kind enough to give me a helping hand.

I enter the following code and save it as mail.php (and thereafter uploaded to my hosting account under public_html folder)

When I click the test run at clickbank, it says the test is successful, but i did not receive any test mail. Anybody know what's wrong?

To get notifications WE have to create/upload something? Isn't it supposed to be "automatic" by CB? A sale > one email notification to your mail box?

could you please clarify this? You say there is a way of notification and tracking for AFFILIATES? How should this work? There needs to be code on the VENDOR page.

Otherwise there is no way for affiliates to track real sales. correct me if i am wrong.

which reminds me:

CB could make it mandatory for EACH vendor to add some sort of custom code on their page - and a way that after each real purchase customer returns to a certain page, code is executed and the affiliate would be able to have real tracking.

Basically...its already there since every vendor DOES have stats which affiliate actually conducted a sale. Now..there just needs to be a way for the affiliates to have access to this stats, their stats.

Not only would this eliminate any doubt and speculations about faulty clickbank tracking - it would tremendously boost confidence in clickbank again!

Real affiliate sale tracking and stats is something mandatory which is missing with clickbank...and instead of new terms and whatever CB does right now they should do this instead - implement a REAL tracking for all affiliates.

Yep, good point I would happily do this for my affiliates as I am sure most publishers would.

The only other way I can think of doing it is with software as has already been mentioned like EasyClickMate etc...

Or I install Google conversion tracking for my affiliates, the only other way i can think is to get into the coding above.

Yea, clickbank tracks them for you with their little colorful bars. Just log into your account and you'll see..........................oh wait a minute, that doesn't work.

Look at the second post in this thread.

@jerrick - check your spam folder and/or try entering in a different email address. I suspect the problem is not CB notifying you (via a hit on your script) but more that you're just not receiving the email.

How is it different than the free script ClickBank supplies that has been linked to and posted in this thread?

Yes it is mine which is one of the reasons that I use it I actually had it programmed for my own uses and then afterwards offered it to others.

The differences are slight, but to me are important:

1. You can use multiple accounts and have them sent to different addresses
2. You received a summary of your sales in the last x days rather than receiving them as they come
3. It is not relying on the ipn which having used it for a large launch can at times be unreliable
4. You don't need to play around with a script. It is already all there for you (and it works!)

Would probably advise you not to buy my script but to try the free one, but if that doesn't work for you then try mine.
