Any Idea How To Implement This On A Wordpress Site? (Flag Linking to .de version of site)

I have a website that I have been building and running a campaign on for the past few months, and the guy is now looking to get it translated and create a german .de version.

What Im wondering is, we want the .com english site to be able to implement one of those little country flags in the corner that links to the .de site (and vice versa)...but the problem is this is a wordpress site and theme, and I'm not an experienced coder/have no idea how to go about this, as of course wordpress is fairly restricted.

Is there a plugin for this at all? Or anyone that could help me out?

    A simple way would be to add a small picture link (and some language wording) to the header.php file in the wordpress theme file.

    Anyone you know who understands HTML and basic PHP should be able to do this for you.

    Anyone you can recommend? I know it would probably be a cheap and very quick job, but I really have no idea. And would need someone reputable and trustworthy to get in there and do it for me.
