Is JVNotifyPro Right Place for Diet and Weight Loss Product affiliates recruitment?

Guys,

I'm going to launch a high quality Diet and Weight loss product. Can some one tell me the best place for recruiting JV. JVNotifyPro is full of IM products. Is that the right place for diet and weight loss product as well?

You can certainly look and announce there but do not limit yourself. Go to ClickBank and get the contact information for every other marketer already in your space. Writer a personal letter to them. Complement them on their product and success (even buy the product so you know exactly what they did).

Now here is the important part... Ask how you can help them!

Never go straight to a pitch about how wonderful your product is. But see what you can do to assist them. Once you have a working relationship you can ask them if they would like to promote your product etc.

If you just go straight for a pitch you will shoot yourself in the foot.

Other than that also recruit JVs from the JV room here and on #1 Affiliate Marketing Forum ::* ABestWeb for other marketers in the same niche.

    All the best

    Sean

Thanks Sean. What do you mean by personal letter? Email or Postal letter? Which is the best way to get attention?

By the way, I'm happy that I bought Commission Commando.

If you want to get high quality JV and affiliates for your Weight loss product the best place to start is contacting people that already have products in this niche because they have big lists build from proven buyers.

JVNotifyPro primary focus is about IM products... yes you can announce your product there but don't expect to get quality affiliates for your niche and I know this for a fact because I was taking to a really cool guy that I met at a seminar and he had announced his product on JVNotifyPro...he got a lot of affiliate to sign up and he though that he had all the affiliate power to launch the product.

When the product went live it was a total failure. Why was this?

Well 97% of this affiliate's were as I like to call them "the search engine vultures" basically all they had done was affiliate websites that ranked on the front page of Google for the name of the product.

Now this method works extremely well when there is buzz for the product meaning that when big a*s affiliates promote to their huge email lists the spillover effect is created which means that a bunch of peoples will go to the search engines to look for reviews before they buy.

In this case the big a*s JV's weren't on-board so no buzz was created for that product. To make a long story short the guy pulled the product off the market, changed the name and now he is relaunching but this time he has some of the top ClickBank vendors in the health market promoting him.

    ^^^Agree here.

JVNotifyPro is mainly all about IM make money online type stuff. Your best option is to hit the people out there with lists, so the current product suppliers and also look at the keywords that are relevant and do some manual labour. By this I mean type them into Google and find high ranking review sites or sites with affiliate links. You can reasonably assume that these will have multiple sites all capturing emails to market too so again should have lists.

Also make sure you have a starting promotion for the best affiliates (similar to what a lot of IMers do) and offer it based on performance i.e. you could offer bonuses for people with X number of sales, or once you hit X number then the top affiliate for the first 30 day launch gets $XXXX or whatever.

I know that the IM market is all about a quick flash and burn type marketing (that is get in and get lots of sales and then they dry up quickly) so with your market you should be looking long term so offer a bonus for over so many sales per month ongoing. Again look what others offer for additional incentives (also make sure you price this into your business model).

Though we have expanded to other popular niches outside of general IM, Sean is 100% right ... don't put all your eggs in one basket.

As far as the number and kinds of partners you can attract @JVNP 2.0, it depends on many variables ... including the reputation of the merchant presenting the JV Offer among his/her peers, the Offer ... itself, competition, market timing, etc.

Once all that is taken into consideration, understand that working with JV Partners demands more than just collecting leads in an autoresponder and blasting them every 2 or 3 days with updates ... it means qualifying them, and attempting to create relationships with the marketers behind the email addresses.

We haven't stayed in business for 7 years by not delivering results the majority of times when the system is used correctly ... it has a lot to do with what you put into the effort.

In addition, never take any one person's word as gospel, including mine ... it isn't 'cool'.

    Cheers,

Also ... to expand on what Sean touched on, and Olson mentioned in the tail end of his post, if you are launching on ClickBank ... they may very well be able to not only give you the contact details of strong vendors in your niche, but actually help you connect with them. Whether free or paid, it's worth looking into.

One thing that's imperative in JV Marketing is to continuously work at adding to and nurturing your 'core circle', the Partners that will likely make up most of your referred sales. Connecting with the high level vendors mentioned above can go a long way in padding that circle. Once you have successfully attracted successful Partners in your niche, they can be mentioned as social proof qualifiers, making it easier to attract others.

IMHO, you should always be looking for new JV relationships ... not just prior to launch, make it a regular part of your day to day business.

    Cheers,

i haven't seen many weight loss related products on jvnotifypro.. btw, you can go to a CB like marketplace, find hot selling products, and contact the owners and come to some agreement with them. try other places apart from CB... there are many.

anyway, i dont post often here, but im a member here for more than a year. so, don;t think much about the post count

i have done it once or twice for a product in an other niche (not IM), and it was successful. you have to work your brain and think a little about a promotion good for both you and the other product owner. just offering an affiliate commission will not wow many of the product owners, so you just talk with them and come to a point.

i mean, dont just be the guy telling "i have a great product, you promote it to your list and i will offer 75% commission". that wont please many product owners. think creatively.

you can go with a webinar, some presell videos, etc etc etc. i did a webinar once (not me really, im not native english, so i hired a one to do it) and both me and the product owner made over $3k. it's not much but better than nothing.

    hope this helps.
