Has anyone set up a 'Business for sale City' Website
I am thinking of setting up a 'business for sale Auckland' (or whatever, city) website , that allows people to advertise their business on a paid basis. It is a very competitive niche but could be profitable i think.
I am looking at a few cities , where exact match searches are around 1000 - 5000 exact match searches/month. Existing sites ,that would be my competition have huge number of backlinks , as in 50,000 , so a lot of SEO (and expense) needed to get a good ranking. The existing sites charge around $50/month to list a business.
Has anyone here any experience with this type of site? Any advice appreciated before i go ahead and any potential pitfalls? Also , any good WP themes that anyone knows of for this application? I was thinking a modified real estate theme?
Looks like a good business model , with enough investment?
