Need To Take My Site To The Next Level

So, I've figured I need to take my site to the next level. I'm getting a decent amount of traffic and income - that I'm happy with. I need to branch out and become one of the best Blogs In my Niche. I can achieve this in different ways. What, I need to do is to try and get more writers on-board and some Guest Posters. I have links with the YouTube Gaming Scene and I can use this to my advantage, I've got some contacts sorted out already/

My goal for 2012 will be around 100k Page Views Or if I do that 100k Uniques, which will be a push but I'm already at 9.8k from the start of the year. So, how'd you think I can go any further is my question? I have ideas, but I would like some more. Also numerous other Gaming sites for slightly less popular games have achievedsix figure incomes and 20k Uniques a day AFTER the game has been released. It's an uber profitable Niche and I have the perfect domain, for it.

Domain: GTA 5NEWS.COM - News, Images, Release Date & Location

First of all, I am a HUGE GTA fan so automatically I love the site.

You just need to make sure you add as much news and relevant content to it as is available. Get people commenting. Go to gaming forums that have GTA fan bases and get them to visit your site in a non-spammy way. Once you get a conversation going in your comments section, your traffic will increase.

If you play your cards right, I think you can meet your goals, specially if the game is in fact released at the end of the year. Can't wait!

I'm glad you like it, I'm a huge GTA/Read Dead fan myself too. I actually, never thought of that. I'm a active member of many other gaming Forums. As you said, I need to get the discussing aspect of my Blog up. I've been trying to work on it a lot. But thanks for the kind words.

Ya do try subtly marketing your blog on these forums. It can have an amazing effect on the level of targeted traffic you can attract. Also I forgot to mention that you can create a page for your website on Facebook (in case you don't already have one) and then use that account to make informed posts on gaming pages and the official GTA page. People will click your page and like it (and probably visit your website too) if your comments help them out or intrigue them. Best of luck

            Also, I get a 90% bounce rate? What's wrong?

Nice site! hmm high bounce rate? Try removing "LEETPRESS A Gaming theme" section if possible. Then you have "contact us, privacy policy, trailers" showing up twice, remove one of those.

All I'm saying is clean it up a little and see what happens

                    Great site.

I actually made a lot of money using this method on Skyrim last year.

I didn't give the site as much love as I should have because I was busy with other projects. I only spent about 8 hours creating the site and built only 10 backlinks to it but still made a very nice profit.

I think this method is a great way for newbies to start as there isn't a lot of keyword research or SEO to do. The 2 things that most newbies tend to get wrong. And income is as close to guaranteed as you can get in IM, even if it is short lived.

If you stick with what you're doing and monetize the site well you'll make an absolute killing with it.

You'll find that these kind of sites always have a fairly high bounce rate compared to most websites but you should be able to improve it from where it is now. For these game sniper sites anywhere around 70% is acceptable IMO.

                    Good luck!
