Not really IM but hopefully someone knows what I am on about here.

Just noticed today that when I am signed into Gmail and I click the home button (which is google.co.uk) I get the following

www google co uk /?oei=XdgyT6ThAYSv8gPKmqyUBQ

Now it isnt always the same cr*p at the end, sometimes it changes, however I have launched several anti virus stuff and anti malware etc and it found nothing so I deleted Firefox thinking it may be a problem there, however its still appearing on IE8.

When I am not signed into Gmail and click the button I get the normal URL with nothing at the end.

I would be surprised if I havent noticed it until now because I am careful with this kind of thing.

Anyone seen anything like this before? Is it a Google thing? HELP!!!

Don't be paranoid, I don't think that is a malicious link, just check that the browser is serving you the real google page, you can prefix the url with https and check the server certificate to make sure you are actually on the google website.

It is the main google page and it is already prefixed as https but its just not right. There is no reason for it. If I just played games on it then fair enough, but when I do IM etc and online banking then it becomes a bit more serious.
