Hey guys,

I'm currently creating (rewriting PLR) a new product. I've almost completed the work on it. I'm gonna give it away for Free to build my list! But I can't decide on the squeeze page...

Fortunately, I've done only the bullets and the headline of the squeeze page.
Could anyone of you help me choose a type of squeeze page? Could you give me some examples of good Squeeze Pages?

My copywriting friend has advised me to keep the opt-in box above the fold. Have any examples of that?

Thank You,
Sumit.

    Hi Sumit,

The link in my resource box shows my page. Mine is set up to allow access to the site for free when they signup. My optin box is at the end of the page, but it is a short page.

Mine is still pretty new. I've had 88 unique visitors to the site since I launched it on Jan 20th. I have had 19 people sign up so far, which puts my conversion rate at 21%.

I've not yet started monetizing the list other than the affiliate links they see when they get into the members area.

    To your success,
    Mike

      Cool! Thanks Michael!

I joined your site! I'm thinking of starting a blog soon!

Lol.. Your site didn't have an opt-in box! It was a button there.

You're right, I wasn't even thinking of that when I responded to you. LOL Just not thinking about it right I guess.

Even though it wasn't technically an optin box, it still works in much the same way.

Here's one of the first squeeze pages (not to mention the first video squeeze page) I came across when I was starting out:

    The "Food Stamps" Case Study

This would be an example of "above the fold", where the optin form is visible without having to scroll down.

If you want a simple squeeze page (just text and bullets), then I would suggest:
Squeeze Page Generator | IM Buzz Creators
    or
    email list,mailing list,make money,opt-in list

    Good luck!

Here's one from the "Ezine Queen" Ali Brown...Learn ezine publishing, marketing strategies from Ali Brown.

Note that she asks for a ton of contact info--which goes against most studies and recommendations because the more info you ask for, the more you inhibit people from signing up.

She says 40% of people go ahead and give her an address and phone number.

But I think the fact she's a well known guru plays a big part in her success with that. I'm not sure her strategy would work as well for your typical entrepreneur.

Still, it's something to interesting to test in case you want to send postcards or other mailed items in the future.

This is it! I was looking for something exactly like this. I'd definitely use this one, until I find something better. Cool!

      Thanks Tracy.

Thanks. But, why does he only ask for e-mail?

I don't have a video yet, but I'll sure Bookmark this one. I kinda liked it.

That list had only one purpose: to give away some killer free content in order to pre-sell them on the main PLF course.

Also, I don't know if I'm making this up or not, but I think that people feel slightly more comfortable opting in when only their email addresses are required.

Yeah... that does make sense although it doesn't look way too professional.

Hey, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Test multiple squeeze pages.

Don't give away your product. Instead use the content and re-purpose it. Use the content as bait to attract hungry fish. Try selling your PLR for $5. Create a WSO (Warrior Special offer) in your signature file.

I'm 16 and starting out with zero cash!

I'm sure gonna try different squeeze pages.

Great post Curtis! A great squeeze page generator tool, I can't recommend squeeze page generator enough! It already has preloaded popular templates that are perfect for creating a basic squeeze page that you can tweak to polish up later on! Thanks!
