The Best Way To Set Up A System For Your Affiliates

Hi Warriors,

What's your favourite method of setting up a system for your affiliates?

I have heard a lot of people suggest Clickbank for this, I've also heard Scriptlance is a good place to start.

Also how much would you expect to pay in order to get this sort of thing up and running?

I know some of you have launched multiple products, is there anything you would do without fail when setting up your promo tools?

Thanks In Advance.

    Hi,

Yes, Clickbank is a good place to start an affiliate program...

You have to pay a $50 fee to get started, but you
get good exposure to lots of affiliates.

With promo tools... I believe the more different
types and styles you have, the better!

Clickbank takes care of everything for you, as opposed
to having your own and doing all the work yourself.

    HTH

    Hey Adrian,

It depends on what you're offering. For me, I run a membership site and use Amember, so I've found great success using JAM by JROX

They can install it for you.

There are many other affiliate systems out there, so it'll depend on what you're offering and how you want it integrated.

In terms of setting up promo tools, what I've done was create a series of embeddable videos, articles, emails, keywords, ads, graphics, banners, and so on... and I compiled them into a Word document. That way affiliates can just grab the content and run with it.

Naturally, you have to keep in touch with your affiliates, send them email updates, incentives, and keep good on your promises.

If you'd like to see how I've organized my affiliate tools, let me know.

Thanks for all your answers, I have given Clickbank some serious thought, $50 seems like a good deal.

I'm considering both Clickbank and Script Lance as well as using PayPal, what's the typical charge for hiring someone for this sort of thing at Scriptlance?

I have had a suggestion on where I can get cheap banners, I'm guessing if I can get this done before I approach anyone at Scriptlance I'll reduce my costs.

    Any more insights?
