I've bought a .com for one of my sites and I've also bought the .org,. net, .co.uk and .info. My plan is for the site to be a sales page and I don't want others creating rival sites under the same domain with a different TLD.

My plan was to put a 301 redirect (via Google Webmaster?) to all other sites, pointing them to the .com.

Eg.

MyDomain.co.uk -> MyDomain.com
MyDomain.org -> MyDomain.com
MyDomain.net-> MyDomain.com
... etc

Is this the way others have gone or do you maintain multiple sites with same content?

    If you do a redirect you'll be fine...

    I know this doesn't apply to you but for anyone who finds this thread at a later date never set up 3 adsense sites on the .com.org and.net and try to rank them all.. Google Do Not like this one little bit

    I suppose you could have a different thing on each ext, i.e sales page, blog, forum, etc...
