where are the graphics??

hey guys,

Where do you go for your graphics when designing websites etc,

I talking about graphics/clip art and even photos,I know the common places like istock but where else is good for top quality graphics free or paid.

hi honestandy, my personal favourite for free photos would be Stock Images - Royalty-Free Stock Photography Images and Photos at Jupiterimages. good luck!

I have used sxc a few times to find stock photos.

There are 3 different places I frequent for inexpensive (not free) quality graphics-

istockphoto.com
BigStockPhoto.com
Dreamstime.com

I like istock the best, by far, but if I'm paying a lot for a hi-res image, I'll look at all three. There is often some overlap, with a difference in price.

For stock photos I use stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site.

As for other graphics, I design most myself. If I need specific fan art (game-related) I can easily edit the original...but then again I am a digital artist by nature, so its easy for me!

Why don't you try gettyimages.com. There are loads of images you can get there
both free and paid.
