Where to find creators of infographic-type videos?

Hi,

I'm sure you guys have seen those sales or info videos that have someone narrating the feature/benefits of a site/product but the video shows a bunch of creatively arranged keyword and simple graphic elements with subtle background music.

Do you you know any providers here on WF or wherever?

Something like this
Thanks

You can definitely look on Fiverr.com for cheap and small video projects.

To hire a good contractor also for a good rate :

One of the best and cheap outsource site would be ODESK.com.

ODESK is the favorite outsource site in developing countries and dealing with developing countries like the Philippines is a great investment for any business that needs outsourcing. Why ODESK is the favorite, because of low fees to contractors and easy to use interface.

With the ability to see the contractors history and reviews from former employers you can nailed down the best contractor for you.

Keep in mind that you can hire a skilled worker with a good English for 3rd or 5th of the price you would pay for an employee in industrial countries like US.

Some people have full time employee oversees for nearly only 200$US/month.

To become an ODESK employer is FREE, you just have to create an account.

      Good Success

Thanks to all for the response...

Do you know the official name for these kinds of videos?

The use of moving text in a video is often referred to as "typography" or "kinetic typography." This particular video also contains custom-made graphics, so it's not "pure" typography.

Videos like this are created with After Effects or similar software. You can find hundreds of templates on sites like Videohive:
After Effects Project Files - Corporate Commercial | VideoHive - sample, no affiliation

Anyone with the right software can take a template and fill in your information. If you need custom graphics, you need a graphic designer and that'll cost a lot more.
        .

        "motion graphics"

usually made in Adobe After Effects

Places like column5 are great. But they require a retainer of several thousand dollars before starting a project.

You'd want to look for existing motion graphics templates.

        Find one that you like.

And THEN go to odesk or freelancer and find an artist.

The more information and prototype examples you give them, the easier it will go

I can't believe some of the people above actually recommended Fiverr and VideoHive for such projects.

Videos like the one in the first post are typography videos indeed, but you'll NEVER get one like that for $5, it's ridiculous. In fact, you can get the most basic type of typography let's say, with AT LEAST $300/min, but the one above is far from basic. And of course, it needs to be custom made, so the templates are out of the question.

I'm a video producer myself, so if you need more info, send me a PM (I don't think I'm allowed to post a link here).

    Cheers,
    -Eduard
