Fiverr this, Fiverr that, but there is something you should know...

I'm not knocking Fiverr here but people should also know that there is a wonderful section right here on this very own Warrior Forum that offers services from fellow warriors. Prices range, often times very similar to Fiverrr, and from my experience the work turns out to be better.

You are buying services from a fellow warrior and you are less likely to get shoddy work since their reputation is on the line here. And you also get plenty of comments, and feed back fellow warriors.

Plus you'll get something you won't get on Fiverr... Warrior Karma Points.

Try it out for a change.

    Good point

Warrior for hire and WSO provide some great service (certainly not all of them ) but percentage of scammers are much lower

    I don't fully agree.
In fiverr U have a option called Top rated sellers and u can see ratings can feedbacks too...

Also fellow IMers r not always going to serve u from their bottom of their heart....I have seen here in WF, people buying sites or getting built sites from warriors and those sites r say near to crap...The woman was charged huge money coz the provider said its a premium WP theme but actually that was a free WP theme.

    Thnx

    Thank you Christiani,

You have given me an idea for a fiverr gig.

100 Warrior Karma Points delivered to your inbox within 12 hrs. only $5.

On a serious note, the only reason I can see for any Warrior to work through fiverr for less than $4 end money is to use it as a door opener to get new clients.

If they are doing it for the money they could do the same thing here in a sig or classified ad and keep much more of the money.

    IMHO

George Wright P.S. unless of course one has found one of those off beat gigs that Warriors don't buy and they know how to do one every 5 mins or so. That's another story.

I think that is a good point, but I think it all depends on the type of service you are looking for too. That being said....I should probably get myself listed on the Warriors for hire.

You're so right. I am making, and made good moolah from that humble section. And true, it's like one's client is just next door, so, service-providers can be more careful. Karma. I believe in Karma. Warms the heart when it's the good type-

I advertise on fiverr and on the Warrior Forum.

On fiverr I get a lot of work everyday to keep us ticking over.
On the Warrior Forum I also get quite a few orders but the orders from here are bigger and better.

You get what you pay for. I ran an ad there and made a whole lot more than the measly $4 something per gig that I would have gotten from Fiverr

I have been selling in warrior for hire for over a year (never sold on Fiverr) and I can tell you the cost of a bump is nothing compared to ROI. Sometimes a $20 bump can be worth $500 or more dollars. I have done 100's of service thread bumps.

True but it's a one-time listing fee; on Fiverr $1 is deducted on every sale so you are paid $4 per gig.

It is still a good idea to check fiverr because some warriors will be implementing the old 'fiverr arbitrage' ploy and charging YOU twice what they will pay some shmuck on fiverr to do and pocket the difference.

You are buying services from a fellow warrior and you are less likely to get shoddy work since their reputation is on the line here.
Hmmm I know a few people who would beg to differ.

I agree that the Warrior Products & Services does have some bargains but you still need to use due diligence in selecting a service or product.

Don't totally agree with this. For several reasons.

    1. I've only found a handful of WF services for the same rate as fiverr gigs.

    2. You have to wade through the for hire section looking for the best prices. At fiverr, it's all $5.

    3. Fiverr as the ability to sort by rating/popularity.

Everyone is at different points in their IM career. For you it might be the best place to sell your talents.

Personally, when I'm coming out with a new product I like to find some of the best graphic designers, mini site maker, VA's if needed, etc.

Warriors for hire is also a great place (just like other sections on this forum) for networking, finding affiliates and JV's, getting feed back and much more.

Fiverr is good for certain things, yet if you ever want to grow your business I seriously hope you look beyond it. There are many places to find the right talent, and WF is one of the best.
