Hi all... I have just attempted to login one of my wordpress sites but get this error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/shadow/public_html/www.breastfeedingpillow.org/wp-load.php:2) in /home/shadow/public_html/www.breastfeedingpillow.org/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

Line 934 is this:

header("Location: $location", true, $status);

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to login again?

Thanks

The Wordpress support forum usually has the answer to these sort of problems. See this thread

The pluggable.php file isn't what is causing the problem. That's where the problem shows - but that isn't where it IS.

Did you install any new themes or plugins lately?

If so, that's the first place to start looking for the problem.

What I do when running across these problems is:

    Step 1.) Deactivate every plugin
Step 2.) Load your site. See if the error occurs. It shouldn't.
Step 3.) Turn on the first plugin. Reload your site. If the error shows up, that's the plugin that's causing it almost certainly.

    Tedious, yes, but it works.

    might also be useful.

    Hope that helps!

He can't because he can't login.

It seems Adam might have to ftp to his site and remove the plugins from the plugin directory then try to login again and reinstall each plugin to find the duffer.

go to your site files via ftp and then copy the plugin files and save a copy on your laptop. Delete the plugins from the plugins folder. Then try to login again. it should work fine.

Then add each plugin back to your site one at a time, again via ftp, and try to access your site through the normal site login. It will fail at the offending plugin.

Finally install all plugins EXCEPT the one that caused the login failure.

    Job done.

When you go to your site with FTP. You will need to rename the plugins folder (inside Wp-content) If you are using FTP from a browser you will need a plugin. Otherwise use something like Filezilla.
Once you get in go back in FTP and you can rename it to plugins. I believe all the plugins will have to be re-activated manually. (If not turn them all off) Turn them back on one or two at a time and check that you can log out and back in and that both pages and posts are displaying properly. Deactivate and remove the trouble maker when you find it.

Usually when I see errors like this, for myself and customers, it almost always comes down to a file or files did not upload, or did not upload 100%.

If something was recently added, try re-uploading it. Works for me almost every time.
