If you're going to make money with adsense, you need traffic and lots of it. Personally, I prefer affiliate marketing because statistically, it takes just as many visitors to get an adsense click as it does to make an affiliate sale. It's like choosing between .30 and $30+. Anyway, some of the easiest ways to get traffic are to do some blog commenting and forum commenting. Make sure to look for blogs and forums in your niche and to contribute value to the conversation. The best blogs and forums are moderated, so don't just try to spam.

    Good luck,
    Joey

I'd have to disagree on that. Adsense is a solid method if you take the trouble to A/B test it. In my opinion, it's better to use a combination of Adsense + affiliate links. Don't drop Adsense altogether.

      What's your sites about, btw?

        Hi

They are about study from home, foot patch, eyesight test, teenage dating, chlorine in water.
It is also hard to find affiliate products in clickbank. any suggestions on the affiliates?
        regards
        AJ

Yeah, that's why sometimes it's better to build a site around a product rather than finding a product for a site you've already created

If you have a site about home study, maybe you could develop it and offer all kinds of home study courses (for learning languages, how to play music instruments, etc.) Make it one BIG authority site...
You should find plenty of clickbank products to promote for those.

If you already have the adsense sites setup then great! Atleast you've got the first step out the way, I see a lot of adsense marketers get to this stage and this is the reason a lot of internet marketers in general fail. My advice is don't give up on these sites even though your not getting traffic

It sounds like you need to build up your google rankings to get that organic traffic in. Affiliate marketing is technically passive but requires more active work than adsense. I would combine the two but don't go overboard on it. why settle for one source of income when you can have 2 from one site.
