Hi, it really depends if what you have to offer is something a little different. Forex is a hugely competitive sector, I am involved in it with IM because I am also a forex trader BUT its not a niche I would go into as a newbie. I am also an IM in non forex sectors and that is where I concentrate my efforts.

WIth forex there is huge competition for the main keywords and the brokers are willing to spend a lot on ppc which means adwords is not viable unless you can find long tailed keywords. You may find that the easiest, more profitable way is to approach a marketer who is already in the forex niche and ask him to promote your product? No I am NOT pitching, but if you want some help then send me a pm, Marc

Hi Marc - I can only emphasize the dangerous landmine field that Forex represents to a newbie if you approach it as a pure "marketing" play vs. developing an "authority site".

The competition and high bidding, is the tip of the iceberg. Forex is such a dirty word, across many key marketing tools/systems. For example, as of 5/2011 iContact will not accept any new clients that state their primary market is Forex. I had to spend 1 week to get my account their grandfathered as an exception.

I came to the warrior forum a year ago for the first time to get some direction and help in how to approach the problem-child - Forex! After 2 years in this niche I can say that it feels like I am the only one marketing and foster relationships in this empty goldmine where traders are looking to find something beyond the EA's and scam trading gimmicks.

Marc - I just visited your Forex site! It looks awesome ... PR5 and a community!

I would appreciate your or marc's feedback on how to aquire quality leads in this arena. I was considering a warrior special offer as I do have a robot that can generate passive income.

Hi Kampester & 4EverMaAT apologies for the delay. Kampester glad you like the site, a lot of work went into it but as per previous comments it doesn't generate the income that it could in other "niches." The sad thing is you sound as though you are trying to do things properly and be credible and yet a lot of the big boy marketers who sell any old tat seem to do better!

The problem is its hard to learn to trade forex so the majority of people seem to want to buy a robot for $99 and hope to get rich quick. Therefore the marketers create a product to fulfill that need but of course 99% of them dont work. We do have a forum member who independently tests, tweaks & reviews lots of forex eas and he has found a handful that do well if they have the correct settings and they are managed properly, ie turned off when market conditions are not favourable. He has now put these few on a live account of mine and we shall see if they can be profitable. as you know NEVER believe sales pages results, one of the most successful eas in recent years promises 2000% annual returns and yet the best I have seen anyone do with it is 10%, not bad compared to the banks at the moment but a slight matter of 1990% less profitable than advertised!! They would be sued to death if they made those claims anywhere but the internet.

4EverMaAT I have replied to your email, regards to all, Marc

The trading niche, in general, is very competitive, and the Forex niche even more so. I don't sell in it, but have worked with clients who sell trading systems, and have sold other systems as an affiliate.

Besides all the issues mentioned above, it can have a higher refund rate as well. The big promises many Forex vendors make are usually not fulfilled, so customers can be dissatisfied, too. Personally, that would not be the market I would choose as a novice marketer, unless I was also a successful Forex trader.
