How can I use a vps to make money online?

    Theres a bunch of ways, but what do YOU want to do with the VPS?

    Like why did you buy it in the first place?

    You dont just buy a VPS without (at the very least) an idea of what you plan on using it for.

    I think you might be desiring reseller hosting if you want to make money from your own hosting. There are several reseller hosting VPS options - the only one I know off hand is MyHosting.

    Well in that case, whats to think about? Assuming they are just giving it to you, of course.

    Just accept it & then figure out what you can do with it later.. lol one thing at a time man.

    You cant monetize something you dont even have yet. Well in most circumstances you cant. There are some exceptions (dropshipping, etc)

    I use my vps to run automated programs- benefits to me: leave these programs run 24 hours and let the scheduling tools provided in the programs do there thing. This way I do not have to let my pc run 24 hours a day. As far as hosting my vps allows it however I never tried using it for that purpose. Hope this helps.

    Think of a VPS as a little like a shared server, except that you have complete control over it and can install whatever software you like.

    You can install a website or whatever. It's entirely up to you.

    Note that VPS packages vary in their capacity (memory, CPU, disk space and bandwidth) depending on what plan you are on.
