Can anyone suggest a good ebook on how to get YouTube videos on the first page of Google?

Hey Warriors,

I am starting to dabble in YouTube marketing and wanted to ask the forum if they could suggest a method for getting videos on the first page of Google for a certain keyword. Is it similar to basic SEO for a website or is their more to it? Thanks for the help in advance.

    Hey Mike,

    Simply use the keyword in the title of the video and several times in the description, and make sure your keyword isn't too competitive. Youtube is owned by Google, and the chance for it to rank high is, well, high.

    Is that all there is too it? Should I build anchor backlinks to my video to help with the video promotion? Also, what else can I do to help push the video, such as, comments, ratings etc...

      Do as everyone has said above, plus do some social media bookmarking. There is a brilliant person on Fiverr I can recommend for this. PM me if you're interested.

      One strategy that will help you move up in rank is to link back to your videos through commenting on other peoples videos. You might have to make a lot of comments, but it will help.

    Also, if I have a list of keywords, is it better to add all the keywords to the tags or create a new video for each keyword and focus on marketing that way?

      It's best to focus on one keyword per video and use a couple of LSI keywords in your tags and description. Honestly I get more traffic if I rank #1 in YouTube for my keyword than on Google. But it wouldn't hurt to get both. good luck man

    My understanding is that Youtube videos are default ranked on back links just like the standard index of web pages. Get some back links to your video, and like the others have said, make sure you utilize the title and meta tags in the video it's self. Aged videos also rank higher...

          yo Ayush send me a PM when its out, i want to check out, Im trying to work on mobile websites but youtube is what I want autopilot money from. I know just about most there is to know and stuff like mentioned on her for it but im never to old to learn something new. sometimes its not about making back ur money, but its about getting paid in knowledge.

    lol — I just checked something...

    I created a video yesterday, did a single social bookmarking campaign to promote it and now its on the first page of good and in the top 5 results on youtube for my keywords...

    Yah so, take it from me — its about title tags, description tags and backlinks.
