How to Make a Guest Post Funnel

The more time I spend in IM the more the importance of networking dawns on me. Capitalizing on other blogs in your niche is massively important to your success.

Guest posting is the most common and simple means to do this, but to get the most out of guest posting you need to incoporate it into your sales funnel.

Step 1.
Have an awesome lead magnet that addresses something everyone in the niche wants to know. For example, 30 Ways to Save On Your Energy Bill.

Step 2.
You've heard "Write Epic ****" about your blog posts. What you need to do is write epic **** that specifically leads into your lead magnet. So using the previous example, make epic posts like "30 Ways you are Inflating Your Energy Bill." That sets up for a perfect call to action to your lead magnet.

Step 3.
When you contact other bloggers to guest post, make guest posts that are variations/parts of your epic staple posts. For example, you guest post "10 Ways You Are Inflating Your Energy Bill" with a link back to your blog for 20 MORE ways readers might be inflating their energy bill.

Interesting post about how to use guest posts as part of your funnel.

People don't always seem to get how to "tighten" things up like this...maybe that is because people don't understand real article marketing or syndication or guest posting.
