I have this get-relief-from-problem domain name. substitute problem with acne/diabetes or whatever. I have had it for 3 years now, and have only used it for redirecting to an affiliate website. Now I'm planning on entering this niche with a full content website. My question is, should I just build the site on this long-tail-keyword with dashes between words which is 3 years old but has no back links, or, should I just buy a new domain? I'm leaning towards getting a new domain, but would also like to know if the age of the domain plays any role any which way. Thank You All. |

If it had back links yes - but as a lot of folks are telling us that hyphenated URL's are not getting indexed. Take the hyphenation rumour with a pinch of salt though - it may just be an urban myth? |

Thanks for the input, Richard. The domain has no backlinks to speak of. |
