0 clicks on facebook ad?!

Hello,

I made a facebook ad for a client of mine. The ad was online now for three days and it was not clicked by one person. It had a campaign reach of 6114.
Can this be true? I mean, there should be at least one or two "accidential" clicks... Is this normal?
Just wanted to ask because I have not thought that a facebook ad would perform this bad. This is not my first ad and I know the basics of wording and how important an appealing image is. Other ad I made performed really good though.

Thank's for your thoughts an feedback.

Cheers,
Robin

Maybe the ad copy was less than compelling. It's hard to comment without knowing what the ad said.

I am not surprised at all.

Firstly, the ad reach is very low. Are you running it on CPC or CPM?

Secondly, facebook has 7 ADS now, which means more $$$ for them and more spending for you...

So I suggest have a striking image to up the CTR

Like Travelinguy says, it sounds like your copy isn't working. Try writing several versions of the ad., and test them one at a time until you find one that works. Once it starts working, tweak it to get the CTR up. Trial and error is the only way to do it, Im afraid.

I agree with spearce000. You really must check your ad copy and work hard at it. Check that your graphics or photos are eye-catching and relate to the product or service you're trying to promote. Lastly when you go to manage your ad account go over everything and make sure you haven't mistakenly paused the ad. Good luck.

Try and make sure you're getting impressions. That happened to me. My ad was active but no clicks. I increased the suggested bid a bit higher and finally got clicks. Also, make sure you have a compelling photo and ad copy and headline. Another is to make sure you don't stick too many likes and interests there. That can mess things up. The smaller the target the better the results.
