Download page for free report

This may seem like a simple thing, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to create a download page for free items -basically, stuff I'm giving away to build a list. I actually want to advertise a bunch of free stuff on a squeeze page, and have a simple Thank You/Download page where they can just download it all for free.

I don't really do my own web page building -I use automatic site creators, as on GoDaddy, so I was wondering if there was a service that hosts items that I could use. Most such sites are shopping carts, where you upload items for sale, but I'm wondering if there are sites that would work well for free items, specifically reports or ebooks in PDF format. Or if anyone has another suggestion for the best way to handle this IM 101 type question
