What video hosting service do you use (Squeeze Page)

What video hosting service do you use for your squeeze and sales page? I have tried Vimeo "Plus" $59 (Glitchy) YouTube (just bad) and Amazon S3 (slow)

Nothing is working out good. I have an extremely fast computer that I know most average users wont have, but when I test on the standard computers all of these load very slow! Except youtube, but not going to use it as I can get it to only have the video play.

My goals:

Have a video that plays when they come to page that loads fast, and doesn't have a logo or anything to click during play.

Thanks!!

Flowplayer is the best if you know how to use it. If something goes wrong simply hire a gig on Fiverr and the guy will fix it for you.

Let me know if you need any help via PM and I'll let you know who fixed mine :-)

If others can recommend any others for back up or confirm flowplayer that would be great.

I've been using Amazon S3 for all my hosting.

I've recently switched from Viddler and started using Easy Video Player.

So far that has been the best combination for all of my squeeze pages and video sales pages.

          Try it out!!!

You can add "&autoplay=1" to the old embed code and it will make it play automatically

After trying out several options, I settled on JWPlayer and AmazonS3... these work great for me.

I usually use YouTube - mainly because the video will appear in their listings and I can include a link to the squeeze page for traffic and SEO purposes.

I would say the issue is either with your video player or video files.

I have been using Amazon S3 and mine always load super fast. The video player I use (the same one used by guys like Frank Kern and Ryan Deiss) is EZS3.com

If you are using mp4 files and they are not loading right away it might be because you have your headers at the end of the video file. If this happens it means your video will not start playing until the whole video file has been loaded.

Does your video take forever to load? Do you think the whole file is downloading before it plays?

Amazon S3 is actually what I had considered to be the best, but it would be nice to see what others have to say.

Amazon S3 is always super fast for me, too.

A LONG time ago, Josh Anderson answered a post from someone giving suggestions on optimum video settings. I've used his suggestions since then and they work great. If you're using sub-optimal settings, they can slow down the video load, regardless of where you host them.

You should not be having trouble with AmazonS3 its always worked for me. What format is your Video in and what size is it. You should try to keep it below about 30mb if possible and probably in mpeg4 format.
If its in AVI format it may be massive. You can use a converter like Handbrake (free to download and use) to convert the files and reduce the size

Amazon S3 with easy video player combined is AWESOME!

At first Amazon S3 will seem complicated as hell. The good thing is
once you actually configure it correctly, you won't have to return to that
website once again. You'll be able to do everything directly from the
easy video player platform. And then it is as easy as clicking "upload video"
and you can host your own videos everywhere you want.

    Good luck

You honestly cannot go wrong with Easy Video Player + Amazon S3. I spent a lot of time trying different solutions, probably too much time, but then I am OCD! The combo of Easy Video Player and Amazon S3 is outstanding, you won't look back! Never had a problem with any of my videos being slow with Amazon S3, maybe you need to take a look at whether or not your videos are web ready?

I edit the code on youtube so that there are no buttons or recommended videos at the end. And I also like to frame with the image of a computer or a television. It ends up looking great!

I use Amazon S3 for hosting but check out Vooplayer as an option instead of EVP. Very happy with it. It's developed by fellow warriors. I think it was only $27 bucks or something like that which I believe is about 1/3 of the price of EVP. I got it through a WSO and I bet it's still live. Haven't check though.

    I just use youtube.

One of the main reasons youtube rocks is the SEO benefit. If you have a video with a lot of views it will get you FREE traffic from youtube.

Google "Squeeze Page Templates" and you will see my video ranked high and this is bringing in new leads and business for me.

The reason for this high ranking? I use this same video on some of my squeeze pages and I now have a lot of views. I did no SEO work on the video.

With youtube you can choose not to have related videos and they have autoplay feature. You just need to code it right.

Here is the youtube code I use for HD player, autoplay and no related videos:

    <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0pm9dpR_sAQ?rel=0&amp;autoplay=1"hd=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Just add your youtube URL in place of mine "http://www.youtube.com/v/0pm9dpR_sAQ"

This works for me. Looks good and the added SEO benefit is nice.
