I'm 1 year in the internet marketing business and haven't made more than 1$

You didn't really give any details of what you've done or what you know or what niche you were in, so it is difficult to offer you any meaningful advice. I just started 4 monhts ago and made a little money within a few days and am doing pretty good.

To me, the key is to find a profitable niche. I think that is where most people don't spend enough time. Make it easier for yourself and do the research to find something that gets good search volume but has some but not too much competition.

So as to save some time, see if you can tweak what you have already done and maybe just build a list or change things a little.

Also, search this forum for similar threads or give more information so that people can offer more specific help to you.

Ouch that's a sad story. It's unlikely to be your fault either, especially if it's a continuity program, you're in there until you get out because the host would not benefit if you earned money.

If you want to earn only $1. Go to squidoo. Write the best lens you can, promote it on squidoo forum. Add new content and edit it everyday and get it to tier two (squidoo ranking system). by 15th of the next month, you will be paid for at around 3-6$

I have come across many people that have not made the first dollar, my advice to them was stop trying so hard.
After that little useful advice they were able to get started on the right track.

You could go to fiverr, make a few gigs such as translation, article writing, or anything you're good at. Heck, you can make a gig where you offer to listen to people's problems and give them a sensible response/your thoughts on the matter. Every order you get = $4. Really, this is the easiest way to get something going (:

1. Stop buying everything in the world to do with making money.
2. Pick one thing you think your good at (seo, adsense, affiliate marketing, cpa)
3. Stick with this and learn , and take action (2 weeks of trying isn't sticking with. Really hardcore stick with it for 3 months + and kick butt!)

I am in the same boat as the OP I have tried promoting various clickbank and cpa offer without making one cent yet. Internet Marketing must be like magic when it works.

First, I'm going to assume you aren't a native English speaker....

Here's a bunch of ways you can make some money online:
- Go to Fiverr, do a bunch of jobs

- Start a blog about something you like, write everyday and put adsense & affiliate links on it. (Try Tumblr) to start. (Get a few links via SEO methods)

- Find someone that runs an internet business and do some free work for them. In exchange, you'll learn what works and what doesn't.

Seriously, there's no magical equation. Somehow you have to figure out how to provide value to as many people as possible... and in return, you'll be rewarded.

Don't feel bad. I'm just getting into this also. It just takes time and a lot of dedication.

I would also look back on what you have accomplished over the past year. If you have taken a lot of action and have built a lot of sites, done a lot of SEO, built a list, etc. you can determine that something isn't working and fix it.

More often than not however, you look back a year later and realize that you bought a lot of products that you never applied what you learned, abandoned a lot of projects, don't really have a lot of assets (and I'm not talking about money) to show for a years worth of work, you know you haven't really done much at all.

A year is a long time yes, but if all you did over that year was read eBook after eBook and take course after course, that would be why you haven't made any money.

My suggestion, take a long hard look at the past year and hold yourself accountable. Not saying you haven't done anything but if you truly have, you might need to really look at why it's not working. If you can say that you haven't applied yourself as much as you should have, pick something and follow a project through to completion and see how it turns out for you!

I checked your website, Backlink Watch didn't find it to have any backlinks, and it's still PR0 too. Backlinks are the basis of nearly every internet business! You may try Adsense, Clickbank products, Amazon, your own product or something else, but what you need in any of these cases, is traffic. And (free) traffic comes if your website is optimized for good working keywords and your pagerank also shows some number. Start with building backlinks right away! Do dofollow blog commenting (use this or this search engine) to find the ones that are relevant to your niche, add your site to social bookmark sites like Digg or sites from this list. Go and read the the SEO section of this forum for more ideas.

I always recommend to never give up. The first times are always difficult in internet marketing.
Without a name it's difficult to do everything.

Try to grow a list of followers via an autoresponder and some free squeeze pages.
Then I suggest to leave ecerything in which you are involved, and start with simple things like Adsense websites, Affiliate promotional websites, and at least 1 good personal blog where analyzing the latest trends:

In a few months you will find the way, I'm sure of that.
Don't be eager to make money, or you will never make one. This is what I've learned in my first four years.

Put out newspaper adverts to your websites and even use it as a travel agency. Try many different ways to get traffic join travel forums start looking for them Hope this helps

eBay and fiverr are great places to earn your first buck

What are you selling? What kind of marketing strategies have you implemented? Maybe you should try ebay or half.com.

This could be your problem right here in my opinion. Instead of investing continually, rather focus on one strategy and put all your effort into that.

Set aside a block of time each day where you will work on this strategy, and don't let anything else distract you.

That is the best way to start getting results in my opinion.

I think the first step is to choose a niche, do some research & start creating your own product.

Maybe a simple 10 page report to give away (objective: build your list)

wow that's a bit odd. not $1?.. Maybe you are buying up all these products thats just not working. instead of trying to make money so badly talk the time out to get to know the business more, read more, ask more questions on this forum and you'll get good answers and help than money cant by.

make your own product meaning website or whatever and build on it things can only get better from there on. don't look for money at first look for clients, visitors or publicity for your product.

You know what? I couldn't earn squat on the Internet until I learned SEO. I bought a couple really informative WSOs (and some ones that sounded good but were almost worthless) and did my homework.

What works for me, IMO, is:

- Basic Webdesign Skills (Wordpress is great for this) - you have to have a website.
- Copywriting (I stink at it, but if you write like you are writing a letter to your best friend, you'll be fine. Make sure your grammar is correct, people won't buy from you if you grammar is bad. )
- SEO
- Build backlinks (to me, all backlinks are good except ones on adult sites - stay away from those)
- Find a product/niche, build a site for it; Find your keywords and build backlinks daily.

I also tried a lot but not received even 1$ also

I made my first dollar with amazon two months after i started learning about amazon sites.

I made several Squidoo lenses for the sole purpose of creating a back link to my Amazon site and now make around $2 a month from my squidoo lenses without even promoting them.

My next step is to build more squidoo lenses to promote my amazon sites and promote the squidoo lenses to make that backlink more important and to make more money on squidoo.
