    You need to make sure the niche you go into is both one you like and profitable BEFORE you get into it. Once you find said niche, you need to be writing or outsourcing product reviews and articles related to your niche based on what people are searching for the in the search engines. If you do this properly, the search engines will bring you lots of traffic. If you're in a niche that doesn't get much traffic, has little competition, and/or few products to promote, the niche may not be that profitable.

    Here is the trick, set up a application on Facbeook which does the same [dress your kid or doll blah blah].

    I am sure its gonna spread virally and you can also then put advertisements as banner links on different websites for new born and kids clothing etc etc.

    Interesting niche!

    I would recommend backlinks from similar dressup games as well as some advertising at game sites.

    Forum marketing/posting at game forums would also serve you well.
