Need more information? are you trying to upload PLR content to a wordpress site, or, are you looking for a product that explains the process.

I have a wordpress site and I have uploaded some plr content to my website. What I want to know is how do I get the two linked together.

As in, if I in the article on the Wordpress site I mention the product I want to sell (which is an ebook) how do I then make it possible for the reader to click on a link and be taken to a sales page.

I've probably not explained that very well....

Guess what I'm saying is I want a product that tells me how to use Wordpress.

        But not "Wordpress for Dummies"

    Dave,

Don't you just need to make it a hyperlink to the sales page?

That is assuming you've got the sales page set up and the sales process working?

    Cheers

I think you are confusing yourself. Your problem isn't how to use Wordpress. Your problem is how to upload PLR content so that it can be purchased and or downloaded for free by your visitors.

If the product is being given away for free this is what I would do:
    a) turn it into a pdf document
    b) use filezilla (or other ftp software) to upload the pdf document to the root directory of your site
    c) the link to the product is then mydomain.com/myplr.pdf - which is the hyperlink you will use to allow visitors to download the document

If you are selling the product, the simplest way is to follow the steps above BUT hide the page containing the download link so it doesn't appear on the menu bar.

If you sell via Paypal, add the link to the page with the download link as the return link from Paypal.

      Hi Rose,

You are correct in what you say. I am confusing myself and i appreciate your help.

Effectively I need a guide to take me through these steps as if holding me by the hand as I haven't done this before.

I notice you have WSO's on this type of thing it appears.

If you had no knowledge and wanted to set up, from scratch, a Wordpress site to sell an ebook where would you go? Or do you have a WSO that tells me what I need to do?

      Thanks

There are many free WSOs if you do a search but if it is recommendations you are after I started learning wordpress from Google Sniper but now I would say "Clickbank Profit Storm" WSO is a superior step by step course (both paid products).

You Tube is also full of setup videos but you are better having a complete step by step in 1 course.

    Hope this helps

      Hi Dave,

      Here is the simplest process:

      1) create sales page for your book
      2) create a download page for your book (disguise the URL so it is not easy to guess). Make sure the page is excluded from the menus, search engines, trackbacks and your Sitemap. Upload a PDF version of your book to the download page.
      3) go to your paypal account and create a PayPal button (directing the buyer to your download page url after payment) and add the paypal button code to your sales page in the HTML tab.

Now drive traffic to your sales page, they click the paypal button to buy, they go to Paypal to pay and get redirected after payment to your download page.

You can integrate Paypal with your autoresponder account but that is another subject on its own!
