Creating Video with Text - What does everyone use?

Hi everyone...

I'm starting to create the some marketing videos now, but I'm not exactly sure what I need or how to do them.

I'm trying to create videos that have text on them (while the presenter reads the text)...

I know Ryan Deiss' Digital Marketer Lab End of Web Report video does this.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

For headlines I usually use Impact. For normal body text, I mostly use Arial, Verdana or Calibri, out of which I like Verdana the most.

As Scanjet suggested, a good way to handle this task is to capture your screen while your Powerpoint presentation is open and simply record the audio with a microphone - or you can outsource it, for example on Fiverr, and pay someone to create the voice-over for you.

There are lots of ways of doing this.

      1) Open office for slides - with Jing Pro ($14.99)for recording and hosting (free) or use youtube for hosting

      2) Power point for slides and Camtasia for recording

      3) Powerpoint and Screenr for recording

Hosting can be on Youtube, Vimeo, AmazonS3, Screencast or screenr take your pick.

      Any combination of the above.
      Hope this helps

Jing is really great...that's what a lot of the people in our industry use...Agency side, anyway. Good luck!
