Ever Feel Like You Are Chasing Your Tail?

I talk to so many people who are struggling to wrap their head
around this crazy business we call Internet Marketing.

I wanted to share a little bit of advice that helped me when I was new.

My full time success would have happened much faster if I would have done
the following 3 things:

1. Have a plan and STICK TO IT. Focus, Focus, Focus. My great mentor once told me.... "I have never seen anyone fail - IF they stick with one thing". This is VERY true. Eat, sleep and breath the steps you need to learn and implement for ONE method to be successful. Take actions EVERYDAY to work towards your end goal. Set deadlines for yourself. Incomplete projects create stress and then you cause yourself to start runnning in circles and accomplishing nothing. If you are going to build niche affiliate sites -- THEN DO IT! Learn everything you can about and TAKE ACTION. Who cares if it isn't "good enough", who cares if it is wrong the first time -- DO IT! It is the only way you are going to learn.

2. Have a DAILY to do list and COMPLETE it. Getting into this habit will help keep you organized and keep you moving forward. Take however many hours you have to commit to your business daily and work on the things that are going to bring you money FIRST. Purchasing another product to teach you how to make money online -- Is NOT going to make you money. Building a site, driving traffic, creating a product--- these are the activities that will bring you money.

3. Positive Attitude - Persistence - Affirmations and Belief. In other words, your Mindset. If you believe you cannot make money doing this or you cannot learn to build a website or you can't write articles. There is no product or no person that can change that for you. YOU must have faith in YOU.

Will it be hard? Absolutely!

Will you make mistakes? Absolutely!

Are you going to make money by reading forums, buying product after product and then whining cause nothing works or it just "isn't for you"? NO

You must take action, you must stay focused and you must have belief and faith that you deserve success, you CAN do this.

I hope this helps you stay motivated to live your dreams. Never give up and push through - the payoff in the end is AMAZING!

Yes, there is the key...."make it work".

I wonder how many newbies, if they had just stuck with it, would be making money today?

This a really terrific post, especially (in my opinion) #1. It's so hard for a newbie to look at the ocean of Internet Marketing and have any clue which boat will help you cross it. You spend even one day exploring Internet Marketing products/guides/etc. and you'll have a dozen "guarantees" barking in your ears. I suppose there's no way for you to give any more specific guidance on WHAT to stick to in the beginning because there are so many niches and approaches, but it's still really valuable advice to say choose something and stick with it. Most newbies need that kind of advice to structure their approach as they're deciding which niche to focus on.

    Thanks!!

Well lets consider that you know nothing of basic business which the average newbie doesn't, they spend their frist $200 on bs click bank products... They go into a viral buying loop making them chase their tails without them ever realizing it. Then the Real life bills keep pilling up.... forcing them back into the rat race.

There is entirely too much BS out there... and you have to have the FORTEITUDE to stay strong and swim through it...

Most newbies get suckered into the physcological get rich quick shinny object low entry barrier... the rest is history... Soultions have already been provided on this forum so I will stop here.
    B well.

Great advice! There are so many things to consider, but being focused and organized is key. And I love #3. You definitely have to believe YOU can do it before anyone else can. Thanks.

Amen! This is so true. I used to feel like I was chasing my tail until I started focusing.

I always say that if you can learn one single skill, make it the ability to focus and take massive action. If you can make that your "superpower", you will be amazed what results you can achieve.

Great advice. Reminds me of this one:

Great advice and I would add that you should stop receiving e-mails with offers as this can take you away from your focus on what you should be doing

    Wow what a great post.

I have a friend who always says this to me, "I have a plan! It's called doing things"

It sounds easier than it might seem. But main key is focus and taking action.
