What Was Your First Successful WSO?

Hey, everyone! I'm a professional artist who has developed an online video drawing instruction series and am looking to explore selling the private label rights to it. I'm new to the Warrior Forum and really interested in hearing about other Warriors' successful WSOs. Looking for encouragement, advice, and insight for myself and for anyone else who reads this thread!

Sarah, have a look at John Pearce's WSO on how to do WSOs. It not only will give you everything you need for a WSO but it's also full of stuff that is useful way beyond WSOs.

Darn, another affiliate link I should have had...

      Best of luck

There's only one WSO I would highly recommend and that's John Thornhill's WSO Domination. You can get it at johnthornhill.com (not aff.link)

I'm launching my first WSO tomorrow at noon GMT, WSO was all I needed.

          Hope this helps.

I guess it would depend on how you define success....... But in my case, the only one i have launched.

I used John Pearce's WSO before launching mine.

Lots of useful stuff in there. 1st time WSO's aren't as easy as they appear to be so do get all your ducks lined up in a row first and use the test forum. Remember that videos dont show up in the test forum...... only in the WSO when published.

Hope it goes well for you.

      Good Luck

I think that's a really good mindset. It sets the heart-based entrepreneurs apart from the scammers and quick-buck IMers.

It take a great product aimed at the right market at the right time and at the right price. It takes planning. It takes good reviews well in advance of launching. And for real success it takes affiliates with influence. And then, if the stars are just right, maybe the WSO gods will smile on you and let you have a hit.

A lot of those courses on how to create WSO's are just going to tell you the obvious:

    1. Start with a great product (this is MOST important). This means a product that is both high in quality and high in demand. Get this wrong and the rest of the steps will not matter.

    2. Price it right. If your customers do not feel as though they ripped YOU off then you are either charging too much or you are not providing enough value. People are expecting CRAZY value here.

    3. Get plenty of reviews and FAST. No one is going to buy from a thread that looks dead so make sure you get some activity happening in your thread right away. You might give away a few review copies when you launch or even beforehand.

    4. Invest a little money in having your sales page done professionally. The quality of your sales page often leads people to make assumptions on the quality of your product.

    5. Use an affiliate platform such as Warrior Plus so that others can promote your product. Offer them a high percentage (at least 60%) and only approve affiliates you know and trust. If you just approve every affiliate then your stats with end up getting ruined by junk traffic and the real affiliates won't want to promote for you.

    6. Make sure you stick around after you launch. I have seen countless people launch a WSO and then come into the thread and say they are going away or going to sleep for a few hours because getting to launch wore them out. BIG mistake. Don't do this. The best time to create momentum with your offer is in those first few hours so you want to make sure you are there to answer any questions and resolve any issues that may arise.

If you are worn out getting to launch then don't launch your WSO. Go to sleep, have a nice rest, and do it the next day. Don't rush things for the sake or rushing things - it never ends well.

They are just a few little pointers but it sums up a large majority of the stuff you are going to learn in a lot of those paid WSO courses. A lot of it (as can be seen above) just comes down to common sense.

This is absolutely FANTASTIC advice for anyone launching their first WSO (even those who've already launched and not gotten the response they expected). You need to copy and paste this into a brand new thread. So many IMers need this information!

    Sounds good.

Just give away some free videos/reports to get your credibility up and build your list. If people see that your 'free' items are useful, then your paid items should be most beneficial to them.

I have paid for a lot of WSO courses and I have learned a ton from them because no one does it the same way. What I am learning is that you can spend all day learning and sooner or later your going to have a choice to make, to go Live or not to go Live with your WSO? The only way to find out my friend is to launch one see the results. If it does well or not at least you did it and I'm sure you enjoy every moment of it no matter what the outcome.

I just launched my first WSO this morning and it is going really well. Even though I was only on page 1 for what felt like a hot 5 minutes (it was busy there today) I sold quite a few copies, got a lot of affiliate requests and really enjoyed the whole process.

Things went pretty smoothly, but I spent the day glued to the computer in case there were any problems.

It is important to have a good product that delivers value. I didn't want a product where people would be "guessing" at what they were getting.

I think the key is to do your homework and understand how the process works. I read a few WSOs on WSOs including Tony W's which had some excellent tips in it.

      Good luck with yours!

I have a really big plan for launching a WSO in about 9 months. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it is a huge 1 year course and when I launch the WSO, I want it done right, to the T. I'm very excited about it because I know it's going to be the most awesome thing in my niche. I am planning on getting John Pierce's WSO about WSOs to get more tips before I really get going on building up my WSO system

sarahparks, I would agree with lots of people here. Make sure you are really really ready and available when you launch a WSO, have all your ducks lines in a row, price it low and offer tremendous value, and don't go to sleep when you launch like the above people said

This is going to be your first impression to all the Warriors, so you want to make a tremendous first impression.

  • Hi Sarah,
I've just been through the process of checking out who is around to offer advice as I am about to launch my own WSO. There is a host of people offering training, PDFs etc on how to do a successful WSO launch. The ones that I have short listed for myself are: John Thornhill (WSO Domination $9.95); Frankie Towers (WSO_Gone_Wild - free; link is here: www.frankietowers.com/WSO_Gone_wild.pdf); Justin MIchie (WSO Secrets $47); Peter Beattie (WSO Launch Formula $47); Russ Rufino (Secrets of the Empire WSO); Martin (aka Icun) - (WSO Launch Formula); and then there is the WSO Master CLass run by Fuad Tolieb and Don Wilson. Hope this helps and Good Luck. Sorcerers Apprentice
